Oh good, this scene is just as gay as it was in the LN. Every one on one scene between these two going forward is just as gay as this was, if not more so.

I am kind of sad they cut out Mai mentioning the specific reason she likes hanging out in the aquarium where it's dark is cause no one stares at her when she's there. It's such a sad little tidbit and very humanizing. Also an early sneak peek at the much deeper sadness to Mai's true character that she doesn't normally show to anyone.
