she is introduced early as the BFF for the FemC but then during the end of volume one we are hit with a twist where her and MC meet and have an argument and then she kisses him. We then get a volume long flashback of her being a sad girl who ends up fucking him, making him fall for her over the course of a few months, and then her ghosting him because she doesn’t want to open up about family issues. We are STILL in that flashback, and she just met FemC for the first time and immediately was a bitch to her and tried to prostitute her out for daring to ask her to help with festival prep.

She's a complete train wreck of a person who takes advantage of a kind girl and messes around with the heart of her junior. The shift in the story focusing on her from the the childhood friends along with her arc being very boring and the god awful pacing on the story has made people just hate her and the story.

In the latest chapter we had a flash back of the herorine who after being treated rudely by her tries to reach out and befriend her but ends up being tricked into staying behind while the girl walks away and called a sugar daddy who now targeted the herorine. So yeah she's kind of a really shitty person.

So, she is being neglected by her parents and that's probably one reason why she became such an unpleasant person. He did the right thing here and who knows, maybe she will come to regret her behaviour and actually apologise to him and start changing.
