Also, was the Apothecary always some guy who got isekai-d to this world (according to page 2)? Maybe I just have bad memory, but I don't remember that part of his backstory.

IIRC that happened later so don't think it's been covered yet.. but yea does feel a little less traumatic than the original.
Glad this got serialised though.. hope the author doesn't change things up too much!

EDIT: I take that back.. just went and cheked the originals and it's pretty accurately following the story so far.

I was definitely not expecting this one to be picked up for serialization. I have to wonder how much of a departure it's going to be from the original, because IIRC it's pretty much a completed story, albeit a bit rushed in the end. This is a surprise to say the least.

There is and it was depressing as all get out. But I suppose some folks get off on brutal rape stuff. Reszurre is attractive in NORMAL, R18 stuff, but that prequel stuff made me ill.

I don't really see the point in serializing this, the short version was enough. It has even already made quite a few changes and revealed stuff early, which is kind of an odd choice.

It happens. One of the complaints about the original was that the story just got a speed end. Now, the story can get fleshed out quite a bit more, hopefully going beyond the end of the "prototype" story so we see Reszurre as a wife.

I'm surprised this got a serialization after a few years of the Pre-serialization being completed. If Giba-chan sensei is going to make money off it then I can't blame him for it. Wonder how much it will change compared to the Pre-serialization version but I do hope it will have a happy ending since Reszurre deserves it. Thanks for the translations.

I am too, but clearly, someone thought Giba-chan's work deserved more, and I agree. Sensei has a lot of interesting ideas that he does in these shorts (with hentai continuations on the Fanbox site).

That aside, thanks to the folks who translated this. When I saw Giba-chan announce the serialization, I hoped someone would pick it up.

I didnt even know that until you mentioned it :x. Although this is the first time I would consider that type of manga as “background” to be on point, I havent seen it but we can imagine what happened… after what was done to Reszurre.
