This author is cooking something man, it's not often that i'm reading a rom-com and i'm like "where the hell is this gonna go"
He could always ditch the premise 10 chapters in but fuck it we ball in this mf, i believe in a better tomorrow.

This is a really interesting manga I love that they also might end up revealing the love eaters to us from the start. Some people here seem to have forgotten that there are type of mysteries where the readers can know the answer from the start cough cough death note cough cough

I get what you’re saying, but to me it’s still WAY too early to do a reveal like that. There’s only been four chapters and we already have confirmation who one of the love eaters is. The author should have waited until all the girls had their first date at the very least.
Then that would be boring, since A lot of people already thought she was the real one. by eliminating her before the other girls even had their dates, would make the dates more exiting as you're reading it. I mean it could have also been written that way (where every girl has had their turn) before revealing, but it would have been too boring to read the dates of the other girls since she was almost everyone's bet to be real. True, it would have made for a more interesting plot twist but a lot of people wouldn't have the interest to get to that plot twist.

Baku-Baku, Gabu-gabu, Mogu-mogu, and Muusha-muusha are all eating noise in Japanese, usually used by some high-school girl, I don't remember Mamori being one of them, so she's the real one??
Doesn't "Tsukimori" mean "Love Death"?

I don't actually understand Japanese

It would be boring for a story that establishes a mystery to keep that mystery going for longer than 4 chapters? Yeah, flawless logic buddy.

So reading a mystery in which you are pretty sure of your answer already, isn't boring? Flawless logic buddy

Oh, you know how every person who read this story thinks? You know for a fact that everyone automatically knew she was a love eater? You do know that mysteries are supposed to have twists, misdirections, and red herrings right? If the author was even remotely clever he could have dropped misdirections and false clues to lead readers on to make them believe that she was a love eater. But no, this story isn’t even remotely interested in creating an interesting mystery because apparently readers like you are completely brain rotted and have the attention span of a toddler. You need everything revealed immediately or else you’ll get bored.

Watch Knives Out, that’ll show you how to properly do a mystery story where you supposedly already have everything solved near the beginning.

Your brain dead logic to try and cope for this trash writing is impeccable.

Not everyone, but a majority of people. Maybe you don't think it's good, but a majority of people do. "Truth" in literary works is not objective but rather subjective. If you think something is "Trash" or "Peak" that's only you, and if another person says the same thing as you only means they agree with you, but someone will always think otherwise. Sometimes those "someones" will be the majority. That is what people will use as the "everyone" as it is the consensus of the majority, doesn't necessarily means it's true but rather true to the most amount of people in a group.

This is just blatantly a lie and it's utterly asinine you'd vomit out this garbage. You don't speak for a 'majority' of people. You only speak for yourself. Just because YOU believed that she was a love eater doesn't mean that a majority of readers did as well.
Maybe you don't think it's good, but a majority of people do.
Again, you don't speak for the majority of the readers. Stop acting like you do. I've seen plenty of comments from people who are disappointed by the way this story is being handled.

Maybe take your own advice? You keep saying 'majority' this 'majority' that. It's only you bro, stop speaking for other readers.

Again, you have no earthly idea what the 'majority' of readers think. And you couldn't possibly know. Stop acting like you do.

You're just repeating yourself and rambling utter nonsense. You don't know what's true for the 'most amount of people in the group' stop acting like you do. Unless you've somehow magically gotten in contact with every single human being who's read this story and gotten their opinion, you don't know what the 'majority' thinks, you only know what you, yourself thinks.

You can't read what is essentially two paragraphs? A response that is basically as long as your previous one? Buddy, you ain't beating the brainrotted allegations. Maybe you should hop back onto TikTok and destroy your attention span even further.

This chapter just made it even more bizarre that the last girl was just straight up revealed to be a love eater. Isn’t one of the main appeals of a series like this supposed to be the guessing game?

I can only assume she was revealed to be a love eater because her starting to fall in love with him is some ‘key’ for later in the story. Idk, to me it feels like the author jumped the gun a bit.
In the long run, it will only frustrate readers more when it becomes a guessing game. The author also has likely decided it to be more romance focused than mystery.

Then don’t even bother with the mystery in the first place if you aren’t even going to attempt to keep it going. The appeal of this series should have been the MC trying to figure out who his real love was and weeding out the Love Eaters, not some generic ass, cliche harem romcom.

The mystery was to grab attention. People wouldn’t be reading it if it was another generic harem romcom, there’s gotta be a lure. Quintuplets already did the mystery-leaning romcom as did 7witches and some rising names like Mayonaka Heart Tune. It’s already getting stale, and some opinions about it is in the long run, the mystery element only added to frustration, as often, it leaves plot holes with authors using flashbacks and other plot devices solely to keeping the readers on their toes.

Then. Don't. Do. A. Mystery. Find. A. Different. Hook.

It's utterly asinine to hook readers in with a mystery and completely give up on the thing that hooked them within five chapters. I bet a decent number of people have dropped this manga because it has devolved into yet another generic harem romcom.

You do you, and I also bet a lot of people read way past this and isn’t bitching about it like you
