I love that this is the first chapter we got without any commentary from the other three. Up until now we've been viewing everything mostly through the lens of their reactions to what was happening, and they've acted as an audience surrogate for the anticipation for when Nayu and Hikoichi finally take that first real step.
And when we finally get that, we stop seeing the text messages. They're obviously still happening, but we don't see them anymore. Because this is a moment just for Nayu and Hikoichi. There's no shenanigans, no extended panel sequences showing everyone's reactions, no jokes. This is their youth moving forward and growing, and it's allowed to happen without any interruptions.
If that's not peak, I don't know what is.
