Yes actually. Now you might not know this manga since it's pretty obscure but it's called Modoki-domo, unfortunately the chapter it happens on is not translated at the moment though..

• Mahou Sensei Negima!

Also, MyAnimeList gives pretty good recommendations if you are on specific mangas, so maybe try that if you want something similar to something you enjoyed in the past.
