Yep, I want to say that I don't see the appeal to this....but I am fairly sure I have read or am reading Manga with the opposite happens....still, is like when I tried reading Josei and found a lot of titles like these, they just mesh together, usually the Guy never changes, which is what makes me drop them.

I just wanna say I appreciate the very appropriate ‘Horror’ tag on this one. It’s like a slasher film without the gore (smooch instead of stab? Grope instead of gore?) and through that lens, I’m kinda here for an unhinged hero vs ‘final girl’ storyline. Though I suspect it will end in a “if you can’t beat him, join him” way, it’d still amuse me if the other common final girl trope of ‘being rescued at the end by an authority figure’ turned out to be like, the saintess or demon king.
