gds holds a ton of mangas hostage and doesn't update them until someone decides to try and give the manga a tl, they do it very often to the point where some people call it "getting gdsed" when a group uploads a chapter after not doing so for over 6 months the moment someone else decides to tl a manga

You mean the same GDS that locks their chapters behind a Patreon paywall and doesn't release their chapters on mangadex for months, and will suddenly mass drop a bunch of chapters on mangadex when someone else posts a chapter after 3-6 months and have done this for years?

Hello everyone! Unfortunately this has escalated to quite a bit of a predicament, first of all we will be continuing to translate this manga until the foreseeable future. We'd like to thank everyone for the support we have gotten over the past weeks, this is just a minor hiccup and we plan to move forward from here. We're currently trying to figure out how to fix this mess and this shouldn't be a problem in the future, however whichever version you want to read is up to you as the readers. That aside I would like to request for people not to harass anyone and to be civilized, I will not address however the sniping of another group as I am very sure at this point as long term manga readers you are aware of the situation. That aside, we would never snipe a series without any valid reason and we only pick up series with permission of the old scan team (as per the case of The Shiunji Family Children) and even if we are sniped we tend to give the snipers an opportunity to work on the series, it is up to them whether they take it our not.
