I try to leave the current spoilers out of the chapters discussions. This series is too damn interesting to wait for the free chapter to come out. Even got the first volume when it came out.

Pretty good fight so far. I like Mayu's powers the most. Sword mastery + teleportation? Classic combination.

So the Prince can amp a person's abilities senses ? Now that's a valuable person to have under Hiroto's control. Prince's team is no joke to give a student council member some major trouble.

Also, didn't expect Nirasawa to take control her own body this soon, if at all. I wonder if that's a temporary thing that happens when the body is near death/unconscious? If it's permanent, then Hiroto is a bad position because he's powerless against a vengeful Nirasawa. Either way, I can't wait for Nirasawa to kick ass in her body again.

This chapter made me go back to see if he could just communicate with spirits or if his power made them like him. So, I skimmed through chapter 1 and it's just communication, but it brought up a different question for me.

In Chapter 1 they said that the step-sister and mother hate him because his dad ran off with a different woman, but in the Chapter 13 flashback we see what clearly looks like a dead guy with a cloth draped over his face when his sister blames him for that. So, did they retcon the reason for the hatred already or am I missing something?

General concensus says that's actually the stepsister's mom that died in the flashback.

EDIT: I skimmed through chapter 1 as well and Yamada did stressed that it's not Hiroto's fault that his Dad ran off with a younger woman. Hiroto is clueless about why he's being hated and never blamed his Dad about it. I also don't see the mom being mentioned anywhere in the chapter. Just the stepsister and the aunt not allowing Hiroto inside the mansion.

I wouldn't use the word "cancelled". It might only be temporary if Akemi didn't get ejected out of the body completely. If it's not then...Hiroto would be in a lot of trouble. He'd basically be playing a game where all his allies turn into enemies the moment they get defeated.

It seemed like she amped her senses (vision and hearing) to avoid that attack. Maybe that's how she controls or gets these girls to follow her, she ups their senses and they enjoy the pleasure too much or even become addicted to it

Ye, that's the more accurate description of Prince's abilities. That is a good supportive ability to have.
