I dunno if I would still go to school after surviving an assassination attempt but I get it, you need to acquire more targets for Hiroto to hijack. I just can't expect Nirasawa to defend Yamada against the might of the Student Council members and the Prince and her bodyguards forever. Yamada needs to at least use Rirkia's body to summon her minions to protect her.

Or use them for intelligence or something. It beats waiting for a deal to be made to use Rirkia's body other than bait.

Hopefully, Hiroto gets his power-up soon and continue his offensive. Next chapter and the half chapter looks interesting from what I've read.

The president is his sister btw. The exact reason is still unknown. Why they are after him? He's a man with a weak ability close to the President. I'm sure they want to get rid of him.

Probably to get on the stepsister's good side since she seemed to get pissed whenever someone brings up his name.

It looks like the student council wants Hiroto to be as isolated and ostracized as possible so nobody will give a shit about him when the stepsister hit the killswitch on Hiroto after one year.

There is a flashback sequence where it shows his dad married her mother. They are really close and happy in a few panels when they were young. In one panel it shows her mother's funeral and she said it's all his "fault". It still hasn't been revealed how her mother passed away. But it's hinted that MC and/or his ability may have been responsible in some way.
