I just hope they keep the same team, this has been my favorite series in the past year and a half. Seems like they been making slight changes from the novel which makes the story a bit more interesting.

As a fellow novel reader, while this change of fate is a surprise for me, this is not an unwelcome one. Why? because 1. We can now see 2 paths of Ed where he saved her and where he failed to save her, we can just count this as a branch where he managed to do so. 2. I was sad that she died and didn't get the chance to redeem or do anything with the protagonist because all she did in the novel was similar here the only difference being she died there and here she didn't.

In summary: A surprise change but not an unwelcome one, two paths to see Novel and Manga.

Also I quite concerned with the wording towards the end. "We will be back with an epilogue" is it an epilogue for Season 1 or the epilogue of the manga series?

I am guessing just a translation error since why call it season one unless you are planing more seasons.

Man, I don’t have the words. This has been one of my favorites, but I knew it was due for hiatus soon. I’m glad GED is back, and apparently Killed An Academy Player is close too.

I was surprised only two days had passed for Ed to be that mobile, but I guess his wounds were mostly mental. Lucy was the GOAT for bringing Wife #1 home, just like Belle is for being the best (wife) Maid.

I’m glad Adele survived, although I don’t know enough about the LN to comment on it. I also wonder how many people realize Ed was actually talking about the manhwa, and not just Adele’s circumstances. That was a nice callout, and a notice that things will deviate from now on.

I like that, actually, although most of the novel readers have been classy about not spoiling! I also really want to know what the deal was with Ed’s past, but I can wait to see what the manhwa does with it.

Last but not least, thanks Bl0ze for this Stellar version! I hope to see your work on other series, too.

Its a little impacting the moral of this arc where Ed REALLY sacrifice someone for his survival, but here he just barely made it in time... Not horrible, but it's interesting how it will affect the story, overall I like Adele very much, so thank God she survived her

I have been following for so long that I'm surprised it was just season 1, it felt like 2-3 season in other mangas
I love this series, I hope the next season is as good as this one

I've been treating that as poorer wording; pretty sure its stating the existence of lucy purely as a game boss is gone, because she stayed as lazy student lucy; that she's not part of the plot at this time.

There is something beautiful between Ed and Adele talk about the future, not having the gift to see the future, not been a puppet of your own visions and do things blindly...

THAT is life, isn't it? A accumulation of bad and good moments, dictacted by mostly random occurrances that leads you to what you are. It may be scary to not follow a path set in stone, but I am at the side of Adele, that is exciting, THAT IS LIVING at least to me.

And oh men, Ed is such an interesting MC, It have struggles, It has doubts, It feels like a real human.

Its a shame that the season is over, but I will be waiting paitienly like everyone else.

For the WN readers, there is one thing I don't understand. Why did Adele die? I mean, there was no reason to sacrifice herself since the Dragon obviously didn't come. And wasn't the circle in the church where the pope and the saintess were? Wouldn't she meet them there? If she died out of her wounds, wouldn't it be easy to get someone to get her medical attention? It was strange enough for her to be all wounded and nobody trying to help her, I thought that happened only to Ed. Also, Ed coming back wasn't an option, if he didn't get rid of that pendant, the dragon would come and Adele would have to be sacrificed, this time for sure. There is no reason to feel guilty about his choice, if it was for his inability to do better, then it's understandable, but the choice was obvious.
