Go to Zero Scans Website they dont upload to mangadex
Sorry, but I'd rather not.
Laisses Faire attitudes towards scans groups profiteering on releases is part of what contributed to the mass DMCA strike against MD. Not the
entire reason, but certainly a major contributing factor. As such, I do not like seeing anyone encouraging this behavior in any way, shape, or form.
These publishers generally tend to take notice when it gets back to them that someone is making money off of content they have the license for legal distribution and sales in a given region. It's gotten to the point, now, where outfits like Ko-Fi, Patreon, PayPal, and Google Ad Sense will ban-hammer accounts when they find out they're being used for unlicensed translation work - they don't want the headache of dealing with an angry publishing company who have lawyers on-hand.
And, what's more, the publishers will always go after the easiest target. And that's not the scanslation groups, but Mangadex itself. With scans groups it's like playing the Internet version of whack-a-mole. They'll just pop up in another location. But MD can't do that. Not with the size of their databases and image servers.
That said, it's probably for the best that you don't panhandle. Not to be impolite, but it's a legal fig leaf to cover your ass with. Also, if Ko-Fi finds out about it, they will not only ban your account, but they'll also reverse as many payments as possible, and that
will leave you in a bad spot. Don't believe me? Look at happened to Setsu Scans when their crowdfunding accounts got banned. They lost a lot of their funds, and they now have to rely on cryptocurrency.
If getting high quality raws without funding is an issue for you, then asking for someone to be a raw provider is more than just acceptable, it's actually the preferred method by the scans community at-large when you can't afford it yourself. Anyone who says otherwise are only making up excuses to cover the fact that they want to make money off of scanslation, even if they claim they need to pay their staff. Scanslation started out as a hobby and a sort of public service, so anyone who is in it to make money, whether they're a cleaner, redrawer, translator, typesetter, or even a quality checker or editor, goes against the original ethos behind scanslation.
