If the saint is another reincarnator (which these stories tend to gravitate towards, its cheap easy conflict) I think it would actually be pretty different and interesting. Most of the time whenever there's another one, its usually the supposed "hero" of the OG work (or a character that usurped that position with prior knowledge) but a saint working in the background and inciting the conflict would be cool.
