And ayup. Resolved in a single chapter.
So yeah, based on what I've read in the novel, this numbnut honestly thinks he can fix her and that's despite being forced through mind control to be his perfect devoted wife, that he can fuck and love her into loving him and return to normal. Despite her normal being the calculating yet severely stupid woman she was whose main ability was knowing how to suck up to a person to gain their protection and the theoretical method by which it would be naturally removed is for her normal self to transform into the equivalent of her mind controlled self. So even if the control would fade away, it's not as if he'd be able to tell because by then she would end up being the exact same as her mind controlled version.
It's like hoping he can fix her, but also have her back when she was crazy. You can't have your cake and eat it.
As for her, even with her supposed Wisdom, she couldn't see two steps ahead. Nevermind the bit of him having the ultimate protection of being her master. The very base level that he had the ability to sever anything on a conceptual level at the speed of thought, he could have easily severed every single bit of power she had without even causing harm to a single hair on her head. There is literally no hope of winning against him. He's like the MC from "My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!". Absolutely overpowered and able to destroy things on a conceptual level.
This is pretty much where I stopped reading the novel, so I have no clue what happens next.
