This clearly was not the intended route the story was gonna take going by the slow and in-depth way the author portrayed the girl's arcs.

This rush is not the writing style the author showed us at the start.

It's extremely annoying either way, since it always swallows up any actual discussion the chapters could otherwise have. It was happening in Dosanko Gyaru's comments before that series went on for another 100 chapters.

I would very much love for that to be the case here too, I really am looking forwards to seeing the arcs of the girls shown on the cover, but I fear that may not happen now.

I am very much with you on this one. Some stories are shorter than others and planned that way and others just straight-up overstay their welcome because sales and money (RAG).

Whether an axe is coming or not means nothing to me right now. I want to know what Karin's wish was and why she was split into so many personalities where it seems some absolutely love him, some do not, and others are too shy around him.
