Be it dragon king or surprise dragon queen all along, I supose it doesn't matter with that silly power to defeat things in one it by turning them into maids. (Calling it now)

Real question if if they will be monster girl maids keeping some of their idenity or become human maids.

Maids is going to lose all meaning if I type it much more... maidsmaidsmaids....

I cannot imagine any Japanese person going: "No, god, I do not want a life of luxury or authority; I just want to be a peasant. I've known extreme hard labor, and all the injustice that comes with it; Please, let me have some more."

Sure, being an authority figure isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but being a serf? Much less so.

They did just vote in their own version of MAGA, talking hard-right winning in a landslide. Kinda tracks with the servility.

Well, I can't really say for the japs, but for "MAGA U.S" people, it seems to boil down to either genuine mental illness, or being exposed to extremely heavy propaganda for very long time, to weave a whole culture around it.
So, I can understand how people can "vote against their interests", in the sense of being nothing but emotional about their decisions.

But on the same token, it is not as direct as voting for a party into power.
When you vote someone into office, you "take the good with the bad", at least, you vision the "good" to equal the bad no matter what, even if factually false.
However, when god itself steps down and offers you great fortune, and you not only turn it down, but explain that you've being a bitch your whole life, so you want to stay a bitch your whole life --- now that's a whole other fruit case.
If the MC was a farmer -- and he'd say: "naw, I want to keep being a farmer, that's what I knew all my life" -- sure. You take the good, with the bad. That's their lifestyle.

But being a corporate slave has no "lifestyle", it's not "good with the bad", just....Bad.
Anyway, this msg went for long enough. Ya get the point.

There's 27 pages missing from chapter 1 that completely skip over the entire interaction with the dragon

Man, I really feel sorry for the dragon king. Mind-controlled by the demon king then enslaved into an eternity of servitude as a human's maid as "punishment".

Gotta say, this MC is refreshingly normal. Doesn't ask for anything unreasonable, and when he discovers the power he possesses is a weirdo power bestowed by a weirdo goddess, his reaction is to lament that he has a weirdo power because he attracted the attention of a weirdo he should not have attracted attention from.

He didn't say he wanted to be a peasant; he said he wanted a peaceful life, preferably one that didn't involve the nobility. It only takes one glance to see that the goddess did not honor any part of his request except in the most technical sense; he was reincarnated into a life that was peaceful, and that he nothing to do with the nobility, and that had one maid.

And then she forced him to live in the life she had envisioned for him; dangerous, deeply intertwined with the nobility (this part is coming), and surrounded by maids.

Also, "cannot imagine any Japanese person"? With respect, what could you possibly know about how a Japanese person thinks?

This feels like something from 2010–2015, not 2025. Apart from that, it's just a bundle of the most generic tropes. Of course, it wouldn't be the most generic manga ever if the author hadn't also included a demon king resurrection plot.

Considering the sheer dumpfill of manga and stories about how utterly miserable they are, that they wish they'd stop existing on planet Earth? It's very easy to make a lot of assumptions.
