Unfortunately there is nothing to "root" for, the author has made it pretty clear glasses lady is the fmc.

Elf lady, as cool as she may be, is ultimately just an interesting side character.

The issue is having to check multiple websites for a manga that's already being updated on Mangadex. If Mangadex had to remove the chapters for this manga and no-one continued it I'd be fine using a different one, but as it stands this manga is still being updated and waiting an extra month to complete a chapter seems ridiculous

the way see it:

translator uploads new chapter, allows older chapter to be here in MD -> I have to visit the translator's site to get my fix every time it gets updated -> they get traffic to their website -> everybody wins

best of all, if the chapters have to get removed from MD, it means the chapters will still be available on the translators site.
is it that bad you need to visit an offsite to view the newest release? I imagine to you it might be, but I can say that to me it doesn't bother me one bit.

who knows (or cares) which of our viewpoints is correct? ¯\(ツ)/¯ what matters is that we at least get translated chapters, whom we all should thank the translator for this

OK ngl radimera derserves to be mad at her sister, did she never think to write to her about hows shes doing or that she's safe. If I found out my sibling who I thought was kidnapped over 15 years was ok this entire time and was actually safe, i would have some choice words about the amount of underserved stress i had to deal with.

Writing would've likely caused more problems considering they are royalty. If she writes a letter it almost certainly passes through more hands than just hers, the postman's and Radimera's. And every person who comes in contact with it is one more potential leak. Then once word gets out that Holo is alive her kingdom would likely turn the whole world upside down looking for her and hurt any number of others in the process. And that assumes that Radimera herself doesn't just immediately go tell her parents and kick off the search herself, which seems highly likely given how she's reacted to everything from what we've seen.

For Holo the only way she was ever going to be free was if the world thought she was dead. It sucks for her sister and her family, but there isn't much else she could've done that would've kept her safe and prevented the risk of her escape falling apart.
