But then again, people always say that there is a limit to what you can do as self-defense, and many countries have laws regarding what counts as self-defense.

Like you can't really kill a person in self-defense if that person was just trying to steal (while holding a weapon) from you without but no physical harm was done to you.

And even if some physical harm was done, self-defense shouldn't be more than what harm was done to you (like, breaking someone's body part be hand fingers or knee, for bruise injuries from being beaten-up, could be considered as excessive self-defense which is illegal in many countries).

But overall, since the situation involves childrens, nothing major can happen legally (atleast in Asian region), as long an no one was killed.

I do like he proved a point that the teachers stand and do nothing because they didn't physically restrain his assaulters or him when it was boy on boy violence even though 1 was 5v1 or when the other boys were bloodied up and only when the girl was threatened. They were just as guilty because they could have stopped the violence at any time but refused to do so

The moment he went after instigators (the girl) is the moment he lost the ability to be "in the right". The threat on him had passed as he (quite violently) defended himself from any physical threats. Going after anyone else is just him sating his anger.

With that said, he is the most right out of everyone there because he was bullied and victimised while the teachers acted as passive observers. (He probably wouldn't have acted if the teachers immediately came to his rescue but he was counting on them being passive).

Also, this has been said plenty before, but these teachers are board certified bums. How you gonna let 1 student literally getting STOMPED ON by 3 others and you just standing there "hey stop you guys".

Not just as teachers, not as adults, but as human beings your first instinct should have been to jump right in and straight up drag those 3 kids away from STOMPING on 1 kid.

Them bitches however waited all the way until after the victim stood up, kicked on of them to the side, broke anothers fingers, shin check, knee to face and slam head to wall the last one and start interrogating him while presumably getting a couple of more licks in.
But they draw the line at the girl getting threatened? Really? THATS when you intervene? After everything was pretty much done?

Well, atleast i would say that the new teacher isn't completely at fault.
Like said, she is a new teacher who doesn't know how to handle agressive situation between kids, plus she was also mentally confused and emotionally unstable because of all the stuff that happened in the past few days. So she just froze when she faced such a situation of violence.

But on the other hand, the Glass Teacher is clearly at fault, as she is experienced and should have been able to handle the situation better.

But then again, teachers in general handle such stuff & situation very poorly.

This was cathartic to read but clearly his response is not proportional to the amount of damage he’s suffered. When he’s going to be walking out of there but all his attackers are headed to the hospital it’s not surprising that he’s going to be the one who’s blamed.

He was probably stopped from hitting the girl more so that the readers wouldn’t leave his side than anything. Saying that the girl is just as guilty and therefore deserves equal retribution is faulty reasoning from the MC.

That said, I would like to see him hit glasses sensei, or at least for her to get a minor injury when he breaks free from her. Everything that happened is her fault. I wish there was a camera recording everything that happened in this room.

Yukito is the one who threw the shoes of all the classmates in the pond but she should have said that she now knows that he is innocent of the theft he was accused of and that all the class (including the teachers) should apologize to him the next day and that Yukito would apologize for yeeting their shoes. They kept the kids in the dark and let them believe that they were in the right to assault Yukito the next day. They should have deescalate the situation before.

Problem is, even if the teacher had confessed and said that MC wasn't the thief and he was wrongly accused, and asked everyone to apologise to MC for misbehaving with him, the kids wouldn't have believed it.
They would just think that the teachers were trying to protect MC and are lying about who stole new teacher's stuff.
So, while apologising would stop MC's bullying in front of the teachers, it would go on in the background.

The only way to solve the situation is to find the real culprit who stole the stuff, to divert the target.

It's basically part of human nature, we would believe & trust something which we hear for the first time, but won't easily trust stuff which are in counter to the stuff we heard before.
