This has turned into more of a psychology case study of how to navigate the overwhelming expectations of a yandere as a disconnected person who typically avoids attachment.

It’s interesting for sure, and I think it’s probably rare in the way the author is choosing to explore it. (But part of me does miss the simplicity and cuteness of their interactions before the confession.)

i love this manga, but it honestly doesn't feel like a romance. the way adachi and shimamura interact just feels so.. empty?? adachi is super anxious and clingy and shimamura is hella emotionally detached, i'm hoping they communicate and work out their problems soon because otherwise their relationship's gonna continue with this strained, uncomfortable air.. either that or they'll have a fight and break up. you can only hang onto someone so detached for so long, especially when you're THAT codependent, until you either blow up or burn out.

honestly, every chapter feels almost like buildup for some sort of inevitable moment where everything goes wrong. every event for whatever reason always seems like its told through the frame of recollection, not like it's actively happening.

edit: i think people are taking this wrong, this wasn't a complaint whatsoever, i just felt that they had an unusual dynamic for GLs and i was wondering if people felt the same or not. since everyone just seems to be focused on the cute parts
