I’m not gonna lie, At this point If the manga transitioned to making the king the mc and a story of self improving both himself and his kingdom I’d be all for it. He’s already more interesting than the hero who has no energy, harem, cheat power, and etc, very bland. And yes though the kings side is a bit bland it’s very refreshing to have a group like the king to not just fix what he did wrong, apologize, but to fix and change his outlook and move forward with the issues he let grow out of control. Here’s to hoping I see more of the king.

Now I don't fully understand the main party discussion, "court adventurer" made MC istantly think of somethign terrible, from the term I think they are thinking adventurers are getting over their head after the hero party achievements and want force themselves into a pseudo royal status?

When this world is crappy is nice that they explained the best minds and strongest guys are absent because the bitch demon queen made them useless, so the ones left "sane" are mostly the leftovers.

The King only has the "best character development" in the series because he's virtually the only character being developed in the series, with absolutely fuck-all attention given towards the MC. The only way I see myself staying interested in this is if they reveal that the king was a golem this whole time in some bullshit twist.

I can understand the main character's concerns about court adventurers. If the country they reside in is (as mentioned previously) held up primarily by the nobles, church, and adventurers as a group effort, then having one of these groups eating from the hand of another is incredibly dangerous because it'd be consolidating power and/or influence into one area.

With adventurers hired by the "court" (nobles) to do their bidding, the nobles could use those adventurers tactically to aim for specific dungeons or quests, protest changes in the management/handling of the dungeons that the church or non-court adventurers are attempting to make, and even spread rumors to the benefit of the nobles or detriment of the other groups.

Naw, he's about to become god; haven't you seen his cube is only 8% complete and he's basically flicking off hero-class characters with an index finger?
The unreasonable story pacing and illogical power gap between him and his, harem of "heroes" is baffling given that they supposedly saved humanity/world at the start of the story.
Even most overpowered/lazy iseikai characters do what they do because they want an easy(er) 2nd life or chasing away a regret they had. Heck, even actual the (lazy) teacher trope actually expect something of their students.
What exactly has he taught the heroes? What are his motivations for doing what he does? He seems to be on a power trip and keeping his students down because of his "pride" rather than protecting them.
The current MC is worse than an autistic kid trying to build a mecha or create/learn magic because he has little to no growth potential, no attention for details, and no agenda to advance.
I'm seriously about to drop this manga.
