Actually, I found that part of this chapter to be unintentionally hilarious. The time skip from page 1 to 2 is great. Those poor guys, just trying to get in her pants, set off a landmine by asking her to spill her guts.

We'll never know how long the time skip was (I'm hoping at least 10 minutes). Those guys must be desperate if they stood there listening to Yami rant. They even provided their opinion on the whole thing.
THIS definitely deserves hear more than ten minutes of her erratic rants. Remember THIS anytime you want to mock Yuu for the time he said "Yami-senpai did nothing wrong":

"What you wanna drink, Aya"?

"You see, I kissed my ex who likes my bestie in front of said bestie who likes my ex back to test their love and forgiveness to me. I'm fucking filth and I want to be isekaided into a villainess otome game by falling down the train station stairs and breaking my neck against a vending machine. Do you want to know all the ways I tested their loyalty to me? "

" Damn gurl, I cannot not fuck you"

Not only months of waiting, but no story progression either - it feels like the "current state of things" should have been covered in a single chapter, since they are monthly. Two at most. But instead, it's been 6 months since the confrontation, and we were doing status updates all this time. The pacing is just torturous at this point.

Still in genuine disbelief it's 2 GODDAMN MONTHS UNTIL THE NEXT CHAPTER

Like what the fuck man that's absolutely ridiculous especially when monthly already fucking sucked

Feels like they're completely determined to kill my interest in the series

Don't make the mistake of skipping the novel version before spouting BS like the last time. Yom seems to be checked out and he is ignoring half the content to get it over with.
Yeah ngl it's borderline required if you want to have a discussion here with how much extra info is there

Not sure, why so much is left out when it's literally a monthly release schedule

Is being properly translated somewhere? I appreciate the speedy efforts of folks here with MT for us to have a discussion, but I want something that's proof checked.

Because this
Thanks for admit it
I think you're just seeing the arguments you want to launch off of in my post, b/c I still don't get where you saw a critique of Yuu.

even if, of course, he doesn´t figure out the correct timeline.
Yami knowing a few days and processing is very different from Yami knowing for a few months, which is what Yuki is picking up on when she says it's all Aya's fault.

is probably one of the best things Ayami
My point is it messes w/ the narrative of "Hikari stole him" if Aya always believed he loved Hikari.

because she is a tsundere, to be fair
Aya's tsun like behavior is part of a larger pattern of her putting up emotional shields. That's why we still see her deflect - the jokes with Yuu, the doubling down with Hikari - long after she's warmed up to both of them. It's surface level similar, but a tsundere's behavior is driven by embarrassment while Aya's is a trauma response.

Those guys must be desperate if they stood there listening to Yami rant.
I think maybe, like the readers of this manga, they couldn't look away once the trainwreck started.

Yes, I already said in my post about Yuu didn´t know the exact details of the timeline, and he couldn´t know it. Even thus, Haru seems to think is not Aya´s fault either.

Considering Hikari didn´t reciprocated Yuu in middle school, and Aya knowing Yuu loved her too even if he didn´t leave his love for Hikari, IMO doesn´t mess with the narrative of "Hikari stole him", only reinforces the "without me, she never would have looked him" plot-line

I mean, many tsunderes are driven precisely as a trauma response, this is a known fact since Asuka Langley Soryu of Neon Genesis Evangelion. There are several good examples of this with characters like Rin Tohsaka (Fate), Taiga Aisaka (Toradora), Yukino Yukinoshita (Oregairu), Kazusa Touma herself in White Album 2...
And we know Ayami was already thus before the second marriage of her mother (and the abuse attempt), even, if course, Ayami was less tsundere in middle school -according her old friend/admirer we saw in the earlier extra chapter- and more like Normal Kamiya in Shikimori-san
Even if probably Kamiya was a tsundere driven by her own paternal traumas too
I think maybe, like the readers of this manga, they couldn't look away once the trainwreck started.
Hehe.
