One (four?) word reply:How much you want to bet the sword is somehow female too
Reminds me of Yuusha Ga Shinda. Also similer in the part that both MCs are forced to be heroes when they obviously dont want to. Hopefully MC here also knows to use his brain.Scum mc and scum holy sword, bookmareked
Can you share where you got the spoiler reviews from?Based on what i read from reviews the story is gonna be light hearted until it hits a turning point that will be divisive and will be a tonal shift. There will be a princess that gets revealed in ch 2 who finds out his true personality and influences him to become a true hero while at first he doesnt take it to seriously they are attacked and the princess basically saves his ass and dies. He starts changing from there. The novel images are a lot more somber so this is not the comedy people are going to think it is ( at least thats my impression)

Princess returns ?[ALERTA DE SPOILER="Conteúdo do romance"]
A partir daí, ele começa a mudar. As imagens do romance são muito mais sombrias, então não é a comédia que as pessoas imaginam (pelo menos essa é a minha impressão).
Princess returns ?
Sister Tsundere VoluptuousNão, a personagem apresentada no próximo capítulo morrerá no início da história. Mais tarde, a protagonista encontrará sua irmã.
the goddess doesnt choose, the sword does. It chose him because he is a thief and the sword doesnt want to fight unless the goddess actually starts helping out so it wants to just run away at least until then. If it chose a warrior, or worse a someone righteous like that princess, it would be tajen straight to the frontlines and the sword is probably not very strong without the help of the goddessPoor guy, he probably isn't even actually worthy of holding the sword but still got chosen because the goddess is lazy and is forced to run away. Tough luck for both of them
youre just reading into something that isnt there. they dont need a justification. Thief wants money, enough said. The sword doesnt want to fight until the goddess starts helping so chose the thief who wouldnt want to take it to the front lines. theres no deeper reasoning and there doesnt neeed to be.REALLY hesitant here. The “on paper” of it is interesting, but really read these characters for a sec: it feels like the author isn’t committed to them outside of appearances. There is a “will” within each being, meaning the sword and the thief, but their justifications for that will are surprisingly weak. For a story that seems focused on character over world, the outlook for those characters feels like the author wants them in an ENTIRELY different field, and only considers the current story as a smokescreen till they get there.
I’m all for unexpected twists and a new interpretation of a hero but, like sitting in a seat that’s manufactured at an angle, there is a fundamental slant to this foundation I don’t feel wise trying to settle into.
