1. yoru has never shown she doesn't care for asa, which doesn't mean she'll just give up her own plans for her boyfriend
2. the chicken thing was a deep cutting trauma for asa, it probably really bleeds into yoru

Yoru's line she won't cross for Asa's sake being birds (and the fact that she does have a line after Everything Else) is So good, I hope this gives Asa the opportunity to break her "role" in this fight and have a proper 1-on-1 conversation with Yoru now

Asa and Yoru have been together for so long now, I really wanna see what would come from the two of them talking after everything the two of them have been through, separately and together

Very similar to Power with Denji; she's cared for a very long time; she simply didn't realize it as it happened/considers it as something that is against her nature.

Throughout CSM we've seen many times that while devils are inherently selfish and self-centered they are capable of caring for and even sacrificing for others.

as a foreigner reading this, I doubt Fujimoto was making a political statement on the state of american health care, it's just a gotcha terms of contract twist. I can see why Americans will interpret it differently though lol

Denji knowing how the contract works is more than one-braincell move. But I guess he has thought about ending it all a lot of times. It was only Pochita who made it bearable, then Power and Aki... Well, you know what happened next.
