If volume 9 is likewise composed of chapters 77-86, then there isn't a sex scene there at all, just nudity and making out.

I didn't see any bonus content for volume 8 besides drawings of students doing club activities at the end of some of the chapters and a drawing of Gotou, Inukai and class president sleeping on a bus.

Of course, this manga is extremely erotic, but both the characters and story are excellent, which is why a bunch of mangaka (both hentai and non-hentai mangakas) have praised it as something special. For me, it definitely stands heads and shoulders above most of the other seinen/erotica/ecchi/hentai manga I've read (and I've read a lot lol). There's a lot of competition out there, and in the sea of generic erotica, this manga's success doesn't surprise me at all.

I agree, you don't get kudos from the author of a manga like Initial D for nothing, no matter how much pseuds and purityfags might cry about it. It's also pretty refreshing to see a rom-com depict teen romance and sexuality honestly without tripping into pure melodrama like Scum's Wish or School Days.
It's like a manga version of Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

I answered someone on a different discussion board, but essentially Super redrew chapter 73 to be more detailed like adding SFX in the beginning of the chapter when Gotou and Agawa was going to the love hotel.

Characters and the background designs in that chapter also improved. Super even altered Agawa's face in one of the panels in chapter 74(the link above will show you the examples).

Well that wasn’t what I expected, it’s like Takeda Super took a page out of one of the manga that I’m currently translating.
Summary:

Spoiler: Chapter 90: And a Female Teacher This Time

Enter Kiyomi Shirakawa

From where we left off last time, the strange woman asks Gotou if he remembers her.


And he does remember a young adult neighbour girl he used to play with as a child he nicknamed “Kiyo-chan” that he made a childish promise to marry once he grew up.


“Kiyo-chan” is overjoyed that “Ta-kun” remembers her, but Gotou already has a bad feeling and steps away from his friends to speak with her alone. Straight up, she says that she’s there to collect on the promise once he graduates and that’s implicitly why she got transferred here as a student teacher.


Class starts and Kiyomi is formally introduced, while Gotou’s seemingly more concerned than jealous friends ask him if she’s the new girl, which he nervously declines. After school, Kiyomi asks Gotou if she can walk home with him, as it’s been too long since she’s seen “auntie and uncle” (term of endearment for Gotou’s parents). On the way, Gotou wonders if she seriously considered a marriage proposal from himself as a child.


Apparently she is serious. After reintroducing herself to Gotou’s mom, and catching up for a bit, she asks Gotou if she can be invited into his room, and immediately hugs him from behind.

That one would be better for the plot. Agawa seeing and behaving like: Don´t you dare touch my man, b****. It would be like marking him as her territory, speech wise and could even do it in a another way.
Unlike Akito the new character could be a more dangerous rival. Akito step backed, when she understood that she has no chance right now. I presume the new one will not do that.

Ah, shit, here we go again, another one to the collection of Gotou's justifications to become the real "Daredemo Dakeru Kimi Ga Suki" in an attempt to be on equal or greater grounds than Agawa


And my 6th, 7th and 8th senses tell me Agawa won't do shit and is even gonna add more fuel to the fire by her suddenly deciding she wants to fuck guys again 'till reachjng to the point of going to fuck a teacher, no matter which teacher, making it obvious her limp dick comment was about Gotou and her having personal issues with his behavior.

Agawa won't help him. The point is that she's becoming increasingly bitter at Gotou because she can't accept a loser like him who's on a lower tier in the social pyramid can also fuck everything that moves just like her or act cool when situation demands. At least her coldass blackpilled remark about guys like Gotou not having the rights to be confident or cocky because they don't have the looks or status made it clear she's growing some grudges against him. She's walking a thin line between being a walking McGuffin and fucking everything that can move just to spite Gotou without realizing Gotou's becoming the mirror of hers because of her own actions. But hey, maybe this can end up leading to the turning point where Agawa ends being fucked by the old ugly bastard teacher and then a bit of the Gotou that can look cool without pretending to be confident can come to the surface, right??... right??
