It's the Official English version name, it's given priority over translations of the original name.who changed the name? it's so goofy now
From what I remember, he wanted daughters so he could "grape" them.Is this stupid king a reverse Henry VIII? Getting mad at his "wife" for giving him only sons.
The main god mentioned stealing the “world fruit” and that the world would collapse without it (or stop spinning). So I think this might be more about covering for their own screw up. They stole the fruit (to make themselves stronger or something) and in doing so basically doomed the planet. So they set up the crystal as a system For stabilizing the planet by stealing the life force of the divine beasts. Human supremacy and all that was just a side effect of keeping the crystal fed and runningOkay so from my understanding, these 3 apprentice gods were basically like "yay human supremacy, here's the tools to stay in power for effectively eternity"(either being a really bad experiment or something intentional) giving the king and the high mages the big stone(i don't remember if they were told where to find it or accident) and the technique for immortality and the magic to make/control slaves(at least that's what this chapter is giving me). They then also summoned 5 people (4 on purpose, 1 on accident(mc)?) and tried to sweep mc's existence under the rug by sending him to the dangerous forest. Though at this point i don't remember if the other summoned have any significance.
P.S. Just peaked at the first chapter again, the apprentice gods mention potentially sending the summoned people back, so maybe mc is the only summoned in this world?
Can someone clarify how close i am so far, this is just me remembering and not re-reading.
Maybe but I was very satisfied by his daughter wife caving in his skull.I for one find the three trainees losing their jobs a lot more cathartic than the king getting his head bashed in.
He was terrified of losing power so he killed any sons as soon as they were born so they couldn’t take the throne from him and immediately enslaved any girls because he was worried that other servants (or concubines) might threaten his life. From what I remember, he wanted daughters so he could "grape" them.
