A large part of storytelling is the journey. We know that eventually they're fine with one another, but we don't know what brought them together; of course, this is slop at its finest, so it'll probably be solved in a chapter or two at most, but it still serves to keep the reader vaguely interested enough in finding out to keep reading.

I don't think that is so much to healing I think that nature of her has been buried for a while I mean even after all the horrible things he did I think she would have forgived him if he had just come to face for personally instead of running away
They'll probably rescope the original deaths at the womens hands, that they were always yandere, and overwhelmingly pissed he never chose them, and went for the "If I can't have him, nobody can!"

Yeah, about that... she literally didn't want to talk to him when he first came to her and threatened to kill him if he came again, so this easy forgiveness seems to be a bullshit.
I'm actually not sure about that. We don't hear her exact words in chapter 1, only what the maid claims to be repeating. When the maid says it, we only see the maids face, so we don't know whether she was still standing next to her, or if she walked up to the gate so she wouldn't know the lie. We know the servants have all directly stated that they will never forgive him, so it's not impossible she lied about the message, that the real message was the same as we later heard from her own mouth that she only wanted an apology. Chapter 2, she's disappointed he hasn't come back, which seems out of place if her words really were threats to kill him like the maid stated in chapter 1.
