I'm so used to so many romance manga characters drop everything to take care of their sick love interest, it was honestly really nice to a realistic take of "they'll be fine, I'll check on them after school". It's a cold/fever they're not gonna die, you can chill romance authors.

Absolutely wild that this silly story about super affectionate gyaru is one of the only times I have ever seen someone take proper precaution against a cold in a manga.

It wasn't blamed on being in the rain, it wasn't magically solved by someone stupidly sleeping with the sick person, and they intentionally stayed out of physical contact so as not to catch it.

I barely even know what to say. Manga being absolutely dumb about communicable diseases even in a post-pandemic age is something I thought we'd have to deal with forever. And this very non-intellectual story is the one that finally gets it all right.
