I mean if you want to be pedantic about it there is a difference for example stealth makes it harder to notice you and perception blocking makes it harder for someone to realize they've seen someone. Basically one helps you not be seen and the other helps you when you're seen.also, I find it a bit odds that she got a perception blocking cloak, when she already had the stealth skill. feels like the author could’ve just done one or the other.
I do love being pedantic…and I get what you’re saying, but it just feels weird that the author split this up into 2 different abilities. she could’ve just used presence detection to sneak around the mansion, and then gotten The cloak later that allows her to hide.I mean if you want to be pedantic about it there is a difference for example stealth makes it harder to notice you and perception blocking makes it harder for someone to realize they've seen someone. Honestly, I think she will do it? I guess it’s just harder to store everything in one go so she’s doing it by sections.I thought that she would just put the whole building into storage tbh
It is her property by inheritance so, she is not at the kleptomaniac level of a murder hobo.I'm loving how a little girl just straight up steals everything that isn't nailed down. Can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they realize she's stolen the money too and can't pay for all the food.
Aria specifically said she robbed his study. That felt like an odd choice but it makes sense if her goal was all the documents related to managing the territory. As for taxes, I assume the “lady“ of the house Already raised them to pay for her lavish lifestyle. And probably burned through a good amount of their savings as well. So while they may not be completely broke, their prospects certainly aren’t greatWell, this "theft" will certainly cause trouble, especially in the short term but it's not really complete. I would expect additional wealth to be placed in other mansions, in banks and then there's generally the value of the territory held by the margrave. A margrave can levy taxes, so what should happen here is that the people in the territory are going to become miserable very soon, while the margrave will still somehow get by. With that said, the father doesn't manage the territory so it wouldn't be surprising if he had no clue about any of this, and she might have grabbed all of the documents used to manage the territory.
her mother left her a lot of money and she stole enough food to last her for months. She’ll be good did a while. But selling even a single dress (with a cover story about her being a maid whose lady threw it out) would get her more than enough money to live for quite a while. Then she can repeat the story in the next town.I understand that this was the easiest plan to enact. As a little girl, trying to wrest back to nobility title from her father, with no backing at all, seems like a fairly impossible task. I'll note that reselling the "stolen" goods might land her in trouble. (How is a little girl in possession of such valuable objects? Would anyone realise these are goods taken from the margrave and arrest her? Would thieves target her once they discover she possesses such valuable objects?)
She just took everything that wasn't nailed down.
