But given that she didn't break MC at this point, and it was the ideal time, gives you some kind of hope. Damage control in the back from the publisher is also veeeery possible.

Shinobu is looking to have a very good future ahead. Questions remaining is whether or not a reunion with Sakura is going to happen, and Shinobu's immediate response to Fumi.

I have no hope that even if Sakura knows the truth, it will haunt her. She might think she could have acted differently and regret it, but I don't believe it will torment her. I say this mainly because the breakup was so abrupt that it implies Sakura wasn't in love with Shinobu at all. She may have admired him, been pleased by his behavior, and genuinely appreciated him, but that abruptness—the breakup and never seeing each other again—is not typical of a woman in love, even if she's heartbroken. It's the attitude of someone capable of erasing an entire relationship from her memory in a second, as if it never existed. Even my ex-wife and I maintain a cordial relationship; we're not friends, but we haven't completely forgotten each other and wish each other well.

I feel the same way about it as you don't think she was really in love with shinobu even without seeing things from her perspective. I really with the author would just take the fumi win and let shinobu fuckin win one for once.

That would require a few things to lineup: him rejecting Fumi, Fumi becoming unable to act due to this and they are forced to audition a new FML, and then Sakura somehow shows up because she didn't read the names of people involved. If Airi is rushing to end then this would kinda track while not being unbelievably convenient. Fuck it, with how easily things lined up for fuckboi in round 1, we could get away with more for the clapback anyway.

Yea Sakura might not give af. If she was told immediately. It would damage tf out of her. But time has passed, she’ll think about it a bit mid fuck session with Ikeman.

If Shinobu knows what’s good for him, he’d move on and become a Hollywood director. He’ll see her again undoubtedly, but hopefully with an ‘Idgaf about you’ mindset.

Shinobu really seems to be more mature than mcs from her other works where it is apparent early on whether the mc is a cuck or not. Lingering feelings are common when you genuinely love someone but he's dealing with it much better than other mcs. So I dont think this will go the cuck route (airi also wanted this to be different than before). For the Fumi NTR part, she is the sole reason why most japanese people still read this (judging by the comments) and ShinobuXFumi is the only possible way to make the readers happy at this point and avoid further backlash (from both readers and the publishers). The time skips show that they are trying to fix things quickly (otherwise we would have gotten a lot more detailed Sakura and fuckboi scenes) so I dont think they will NTR Fumi at all.

and before anyone brings up the newest mainline Karami Zakari issue released earlier this year, where Katsura Airi decided to have Kousei finally move on from Iida and marry another girl, in the very same story Kousei still entertains a final cuckold fantasy with Iida as she lays down with others before going through his marriage at the end.

So even when a protagonist in a Katsura Airi work gets an unexpected positive development, he still got one last humiliation ritual as par of the course.

People like to read Kousei moving on as Iida ending as the miserable leftover from their group of friends, as Takeshi got rewarded with a successful career as a fuccboi photographer who fucks all models, despite being the first guy who NTR'd Kousei, and Niiyama got rescued from living as a slut by a charming childhood friend prince that married her, despite she being almost as loose as Iida, but Niiyama is loyal when she has an actual official boyfriend so she got a pass for getting a happy end.

But if Katsura Airi doesn’t write Iida regretting her life choices then it really only remains as the audience interpreting she looking at Kousei's wedding pic as some sort of longing regret.

Here, in GraPara! Sakura's career immediately soared after leaving Shinobu behind, and she broke up with him through text! That's a trademark Katsura Airi rewarding her female leads for their actions.

So yeah, keep your expectations low till the series ends, or all major developments unfold.

Completely agree, hopefully with the next 2 chapters, I will piss Fumi gang off while stowing away on their train for a bit but I'm hoping Shinobu rejects her, and then they need to find a new lead actress for his project and do open auditions.

This leads him to save her and reconcile in some way. But here is my dilema... 1 he accepts Fumi before that and just stays Sakura's support. 2 he rejects Fumi's advances and accepts Sakura back. And of course 3, THREEWAY

Him ending up alone would be too stupid and a repeat of KZ. Given Airi wanted something new, 3 is possible, 2 is most likely, but 1 would be the best option for everyone.
