Anything but Shinobu saying no to Fumi or getting ED would be a huge surprise. Or maybe the authors way of getting "even" is he has sex with Fumi for a while so both characters have now slept with someone else. That's lazy though so maybe that's what will happen. They will both be "Even".

To me that will signify the author's ultimate intent of leaving the misuderstanding forever unresolved and maybe not even having Shinobu and Sakura meet ever again which makes it hard to see where the story goes from here post movie arc other than some gratuitous love scenes between MCs and their respective partners for a chapter or two into an epilogue chapter and done but I suppose that tracks fairly with our predicted chapter countdown for this volume. Either way, Team Sakura is Serious 4 ever also and AI tells me that July is a great month of romantic shifts and reconnection.
