I will admit I have read many romance novels in my day my mother loved them so they were sitting around the house all the time boredom can drive a man crazy. Now saying that it isn't uncommon for the lovers to be separated and in the more mature ones to take a different lover that could be what we are seeing here maybe.
It would make the most logical sense, both learn from their mistakes and move on with new people. I do think Sakura has to learn about the truth for her to grow though. However, any situation where Sakura and Shinobu wind up together is straight up toxic.

Interesting thing, "Blue Box" is ending next sunday, and just like here the last 3 ch had a ton of time skips and felt very rushed. For all i know, it was not announced up till today that it's ending...
Well let's see if things slow down next chapter I really the the author doesn't know how to write conflict so she rush through the fallout.

And yet it happens all the time with both women and men in the real world.

Yeah and those relationships never work, seen that shit many times. Once trust is broken there is no going back. Hence why that's not a good ending or fair. And most certainly not a Rom-com lol
Well I at least want him to get with fumi at least once if the author is going down that route I don't think she will but shinobu needs to level the playing field here.

Nah ain't no way that's a good ending. It means you can cheat, lie, hide things, ignore the feelings of your lover, ghost, not communicate, and it all doesn't matter because she's the FMC so she wins. Shinobu just ignores that and loses what respect he has IMO
I can't believe that I will defend this, but fuck it, we ball.

You don't know if she is "winning." More, we know nothing of her current circumstances. She might be railed by half the industry, she might be dating fuccboi or that was a one time thing only. She might be the one that after learning the truth bends over backwards to get back with Shinobu. We don't know. We have no idea where the story will go.

But regardless of what has happened if the characters have an honest conversation without any lies and bear their hearts to each other, then their choice to be together is a "good ending."
Hell, even Karami Zakari had a good ending, specially the manga version. Both the protagonists were exactly where they wanted to be.

FMC of Karamizakari actually having character development at the end when she said no to the threesome with blonde and that older guy was wild. The relationship between MCs was still so twisted though so FMC lied and said she joined the threesome oof.

Feels weird defending that doesn't it it's like deep down we all want to see those two get back together even if all clues point to that not happening and the odds are so stacked against that happening that you have a better chance at winning the lottery.

Yes, but in real life nobody can throw kamehames, stretch their limbs or create multiple shadows of themselves.

In these kinds of works, attachment disorders, childhood trauma and self-esteem issues are always healed by the power of love instead of months of therapy for 150 bucks an hour...

Just roll with it.

Who cares what her circumstances are at the moment. Again, she cheated (all night 5 times at a minimum),didnt communicate, sucked dick a few times before this, hid everything from Shinobu, ghosted him, didnt communicate at all during this whole thing, left via text, didnt care about how her actions would effect her supposed lover (he's miserable now), didn' trust Shinobu, believed some random fuckboi over her boyfriend, betrayed all of Shinobus good will over years.

Naaaah no situation where they end up together is good. This is someone we know is toxic getting together with someone we know isnt. That's not a good ending.

She lied because that's what he wanted to hear from her. She was just making him happy. The manga Iida is actually loyal in that perverted relationship. Hentai Iida is a über-slut for whom Kousei's spice makes everything better.

It's a whole topic, especially nowadays, as the industry is in a state where physical sales have lost a lot of importance and expanding revenue channels alongside digital sales are becoming king (unless you're one of the big boys with massive bookstore networks, which is why so many pay attention to SJ sales)

For example, one look at Grapara's physical numbers would make it seem highly unsuccessful, until you realize the series puts a lot of emphasis on its digital performance, from rankings to sales.

For example, the cover of Volume 4 was all about how the series was a huge hit on digital platforms, reaching #1 on CMOA, quite literally one of the biggest digital bookstore of Japan, on top of having 200k copies in circulation total (Physical + Digital).

Of course, physical still matters, like how Volume 5 was all about the physical volumes getting reprints and hitting 250k copies in circulation total (Physical + Digital), but then you connect that with the physical numbers we know, and you quickly realize just how important digital sales and online performance are.

Edit: Fixed the first link.
Holy shit this is actually wild.

If they're happy with it then its good for them and some of us and everyone can move on in the end.

Literally me. I wasn't all for Sakura after what she did. With Yuma.

Yet all this analyzing and speculating made me realize that there is still a chance for Sakura to make things right.

She's a cheater, but she doesn't know that. She felt Shinobu already abandoned her.

She has fault. No denial there. But it wasn't entirely her fault.

Plus how ironic is it that the girl who has issues because her parents went through cheating/abandonment ends up doing the exact thing she was afraid of? There's no way that's not going to be brought up, hopefully through self realization.

Simply put. I'm looking at Sakura with pity rather than disdain.

Cheating is just such a small fraction of it all, look at the other comment I just mentioned all the issues beyond just cheating

If the majority of readers aren't happy either does that qualify as a good end?
Save this for when we're at the end, if its executed well I don't see a lot of people being mad at it, right now there's still enough shrouded in mystery for a hat trick/rugpull to happen.
