The ending would still likely be a sad one if we're to assume this means Sakura never learns the truth and neither Shinobu or Sakura cross paths again which is even more unlikely because one is a director the other is an aspiring actress, so sooner or later their paths will cross again at least once.

Wholeheartedly agreeing with you here, but I have no clue where we're headed in 132, it'll all hinge on the confession response ig. Like if Fumi is rejected can they even write a script, imagine if the whole arc gets scrapped because Shinobu couldn't work with Fumi after rejecting her and they have to find a new writer/director oof. This is something I'd do if I wanted to spite my publisher and fans.

She won’t. To bring her back she has to redeem way to much and that starts with speaking up if someone insults your boyfriend. Airi is by all means not that good of a writer. I go with the one dude who wrote page 9 of chapter 131 was a good bye page of slutkura. Makes it easier for Fumi to step in

Sakura doesn't seem to want to make up... Well, she's a girl with low self-confidence, and she's trying to justify her inability to trust Shinobu, so I guess this is to be expected... When you can't get what you really wanted, it's good if you can be satisfied with something else instead...

I agree with your first sentence but the route is and should go with fumi because this is the only satisfying ending for the majority of the current reader. Exactly, Fumi route needs more time, would much rather just get a solid confrontation arc and see that playout rather than trying to have it split time trying to develop Fumi romance.

The whole arc was a sloppy arc it doesn’t matter at this point. Just give him a happy end even if that means that the truth will never come out. The majority of the reader doesn’t even want slutkura anymore.

That's what made Shinobu the the MC of the this manga since the start, he's been consistent the whole time where different characters have failed, Shinobu will carry this manga to the end by maintaining that consistency of his. Of course he accepts Fumi it will be a surprise to me, but that can be spun as a different type of consistency in the end. For now though I'm convinced he'll say no still.
