Yeah, nothing to be done about it; we have different views on who the consolation prize is. The story is lame, sure, but it gets even lamer and more idiotic when Slutkura comes back. Besides, she will be the consolation prize for Shinobu—not Fumi—because she genuinely loves him; you can't say that about Slutkura, who can't even defend him after 100 chapters. But like I said, opinions differ on that.

No one's saying Sakura's innocent, in fact we're saying things can't end as it is because she'll continue on in ignorance of the facts. I've been saying that Sakura not being blameless doesn't mean ShiSaku can't still happen.

It is still way more interesting then settling into a Fumi route because there's no interesting story left to tell, they finish off the movie strong and everyone sails off into the prime of their careers happily ever after, the end. Compared that to confronting the truth, breaking up fuckboiXSakura, and then reuniting the the OG ship sounds like an insanely tough thing to pull, but we'll see how Airi feels.

Just contextualizing the different factors contributing to things playing out as they did, not too interested in defending Sakura's character herself but rather the initial premise of the manga and my belief that Shinobu will never really truly be able to move on from Sakura and be happy with someone else, but this may be quickly disproven in 2 days, cheers.
Sakura is bad at handling social situations, pretty fuckboi confessed out of the blue and she didn't know what to do so she ran away, the blushing is a bad look sure, but its not that damning of a chapter, just another part of the setup because at this point the insecurities are already building inside of her and Shinobu being distracted with this movie project and Fumi was not helping.
Again, context is important on why a situation happens.

Understood. Sakura will be redeemed, as for whether they get back together we can have our strong opinions but the only one that matters is Shinobu's feelings and as long as mah boi's happy everything else is secondary.

It could end up being one of the things we circle back to later on depending on where the story goes, for now though I guess it does come off as a sign of bad writing. I'd much prefer the reveal be that it came from blonde while they were moving Sakura out or something in a coordinated effort with Yuma.
The problem is her reaction when they drove away. She didn’t act like she didn’t know what the blonde was talking about. So she either sent it or was at least aware that someone sent it for her.
