I still think MCs will stay with their side characters and NTR them with each other cause NTR blah.
I do want to see more character depth Sakura,Yuma and Fumi. I want to especially see if Yuma is actually genuine with his feelings or did sakura just get caught in a trap. Will Fumi be the opposite of Yuma if she gets rejected and not try to force her love on someone vulnerable.

It would be a nice to see a contrast of Fumi and Yuma handling things opposite of each other, one is support and the other is manipulative but they both love their MCs

Appreciate the share, also agree on the wanting to see more depth of character. I can't see how Katsura Airi would do the MC's staying with side characters into another NTR setup but it'd be oddly reminiscent of Karamizakari if it goes down that route.

Well no her character hasn't evolved yet, the evolution would be a part of resolution if it happened. Romcom elements can always make a return and just because a dynamic can never be the same doesn't mean it won't work out.

Not even due to any complex scheme either, like as of now any character development regarding this situation for Sakura would be that she is able to respond to respond to doubt like an actual human being and not an ntr npc? Like I 100% do not buy that her abandonment trauma would lead her to do this, especially if she is written to actually be in love with Shinobu. Where there outside factors? Yes but it couldn't have been more easily resolved given its setup.

Sure but that could very well be because he's been alone sulking in his room stewing on the failed relationship so its no surprise that it's still on his mind. However a chance to actually move forward with his life and not Sakura's has presented itself, Sakura's thoughts should be a non factor in this.

It was never about what Sakura thinks. When I mention that it's what we the viewers would want to see it as.

I don't want Sakura to think, or be told by Yuma or Blondie, that her decision was valid because they see Shinobu kissing Fumi or the two doing couple things. I want her to learn the truth about Shinobu while he's focused on the movie and not thinking about dating or sex.

Him getting closer to Fumi would definitely help. I just prefer it if he gets with her officially after his closure with Sakura if we're even gonna get that. Dunno the direction.

I don't think Sakura's case is any different; no one would keep reading for a long run if Sakura remained the fmc In the end, her character went to NTR and the manga lost what made it appealing, neither scenario would work in the long run, but I'd say that Fumi could make it work in the short run, while Sakura couldn't.

Well yes a big chunk of jp readers do in fact want Sakura and shinobu to end up together in the end.

Yes you're done, the rest of us that are actually reading for the story since it's still going on. I don't get why thats so hard to grasp. We want more content, we look forward to reading more content, then we discuss said content. You just dont care why or want to see her side, so its done for you. Nobody cared as much the first time since she didnt go all the way and slept with MC afterward, doesnt justify it but had she broke up with him and stayed with director there would be even more outrage than 129. Someone mentioned fuckboi winning in the end also and I as i said before we can't go by H/doujin logic with a published story.

As much as everyone hates it I'm actually enjoying the story. It's different from the average romance conflict and surprised me by going all the way with cheating. Pissed me off but kept interested in seeing what happens next

Once I got over the emotional damage as a Team Sakura member, I also found myself interested to see where the story goes, whether the cheating was a poorly thought last minute move, or something that's part of a bigger picture still being painted.

All this stuff about Sakura's validation is nothing that should concern Shinobu at the moment, the time for that has past and I don't believe that she is entitled to a truth if she is gonna act on a non truth. I feel like they would be forcing a reveal at the sake of having Shinobu act a lot more naturally and maturely
