He once loved and trusted her, but those in reality not mutual. Since he has decided to move on with fumi, her presence is no longer expected. This might break sakura more than shinobu.
Both regreted the situation, but it is more realistic to move on and not to linger onto past memories they had before.

I dont ship anyone over anyone, nor fumi's jugs over sakura's. But to be realistic this is the direction AK might choose over some bullshit reconciliation chapter.

Question is is he moving on with fumi or simply taking comfort were he can after being aboundond by the woman he loved and I just realized that Sakura did to shinobu what she feared he would do to her.

The reconciliation needs to happen! I'll have to disagree there. It would leave a bad taste in the mouths of the readers (the flavor is Yuma cum, suffer fuckers!) if there is no resolving of the misunderstanding. It's just bad writing at that point!

As for Shinobu no longer having feelings for Sakura, I don't feel that's the case. You can date and love someone else but those lingering feelings can still remain, simply in a slumber and would be ignited if something happens. We've seen something like that in other stories.

We want Sakura to face some consequences for her actions (some want it to be more severe than others) and try to better herself for it. Go through a redemption. The only way for her to do that is for her to learn the truth.

Well, shinobu is not the type who'd jump on anyone girlfriend for sure. He is not that cheap of a guy.
Fumi's presence is felt by him, it was shown in the previous chapters. Both shinobu's and sakura's heart swayed.
Lack of open communication leads to this absurd situation.

Yes, this is a manga. Some readers expect instant karma, to carry on with her own life with regret of how things could be already a big burden for sakura.

For Shinobu this is largely true, though his consequence was the months spent in depression doing nothing. For Sakura though she doesn't know a single thing and is enjoying her happy new life while being one of the bigger offenders throughout this conflict.

It only has attention because it was such a big controversy and it's very recent. Guilty Circle NTR happened a while ago and the other 2 have been done for some time.

I'll start reading through some these JP posts so I can get a better idea of their opinion on it.

that's why, not even a single attempt made by both about the situation month after. Was it a misunderstanding? Was is deliberate? Both swayed, both fools

Things could go in the right direction if they had proper communication before 129 which is lacking in this manga. After 129 she's no longer relevant as shinobu love interest. The line break up ease thing up for Shinobu not to live in guilt. If these situation needed for them to be able to overcome their own insecurities then thats japan.

The consequence for sakura is to know nothing now and years long regret after though unlikely. And it doesn't have to be shown in the ending.
