The heck are you on about? It shows they had a scare, likely a slipped condom or something, and they don't want to risk messing up for real right when she got a promotion before a championship. Also, "safe days" aren't really as "safe" as people usually think or that easy to track for many women.
And she's not childish, just just likes being pampered by her husband after a hard day at work. That's very normal for a loving couple.

If it's not for you, then just don't read it. You don't have to twist the story into something it's clearly not and justify not reading it to others.
