I thought it was just his hair as well, but considering how the other two reacted, it seemed that Harten didn't actually do anything and just used his "killing intent" or whatever. And if you are doing that, only projecting how you cut his beard is pretty tame. Pretty sure the neck right behind it was included.

...Wat? Harten just chopped off the guys hair with his Axe. And he did it so fast the dude couldn't even flinch. Dude instanly saw hes outmatched and withdrew to Finish the job another time. Hes an assassin for a reason: no honor. A Rat like this won't take fights it won't absolutely win. And the companion didn't seem to know whats going on but just followed the leader in retreat.

If you go near a dog and it growls its not "projecting killing intent" its very clearly telling you "fuck off or imma take you balls".
