While I do understand the censorship of certain bare body parts in general, in accordance with the Japanese laws and due to promoting the sales of the volume prints (or some higher tier online release, however it works these days), I still can't really understand censoring ordinary clothes that aren't reveling anything much, like pyjamas here. Kind of reminds me of one fantasy manga, where the author was fond of drawing fancy clothes, but then some editor censored all the cleavages. Or at least tried to, with some slipping past. There was never anything extra showing, they were just a dresses covering everything that had to be covered, yet some galaxy brain editor still censored them.

It could be worse.
There is certain manga, where the official English publisher covers anything a bit risqué (including lingerie) with massive black boxes. So yeah, there are pages where there is more black ink than actual images.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's one of two things (if not both): the first is that the artist probably drew a cameltoe, which most would probably consider mildly risque, and anything even mildly risque is bound to set off the censors. The second is probably just because of the scene itself: it's a closeup of her crotch being rubbed by his knee in a modestly sexual scene.

And, well, we can't have that in our good, wholesome Christian manga about a guy dating two sisters that regularly masturbate to him with the implication even the mom might get in on things in the future, now can we? /s just in case.
