Based on the tags, I'd assume whatever harem route was available.

The Harem route was the canon route. The sequels (the Gaidens) assume so. While I'd hope we get an expanded/inclusive harem route to pick up some of the stuff that the non-harem routes drop, it definitely would be strange to see it go any other way.

RACISM!
Yes, there is racism in the Kyonyuu Fantasy universe and based on Kyonyuu Fantasy 2, Ruin Dimidium, the Protag of that game AND Shamsiel's DAD, promised to let Demonkind have their own rights, which he did! Alas, upon his death, all changes he did regarding that were reversed and everything went back to the days before he was king, which made Succubi and Demonkind in general hated, hunted and marginalized for 150 years. And yes, Shamsiel is over 100.

Rule of Thumb regarding Kyonyuu Fantasy games or media in general: EVERY CANON ENDING IN KYONYUU FANTASY IS THE HAREM ENDING. Any other ending may contain some sort of canon event but it is not fully canon!

3, even though it has the most lore and is the stand-alone longest VN out of all of them, was kinda hard to swallow for me! Thank God 4 easily explained what happened to 3 and not only that, but it added to it! You'll love 4: It's short, sweet and straight to the point with its lore.
BTW, spoilers to 3: Both Harem Endings are CANON! It is the only Kyonyuu Fantasy with TWO Canon Endings!

Hmmmm... actually, I didn't think of it that way but... no! (Kyonyuu Fantasy 1: Gaiden 2 Spoilers)

She actually fled on her mother's advice. They wouldn't DARE execute her or her Mom since they're literally the daughter and one of the Queens of Hillsland who are married to King Ruin Dimidium, who's not just a King but a Hero for that country! Her mom just told her that there is nothing left for them in this country so she fled. The mother couldn't flee since she's too attached to her husband's legacy + she's kinda sorta a prisoner inside her own castle (honestly, she could flee but she didn't and I cannot explain why even if you tell me.) Long story short, she wanted Shamsiel to find her own future!

Adding to this, the racism in Edelland is actually worse than in Hillsland. So why did Shamsiel flee to Edelland? Simple! She sensed Lute was there!

Edit: Just a simple proof picture that the games (I forgot if all of them do or not) do indeed show the sizes just to prove that the VNDB stats are accurate (even though this is from Gaiden 1)

As you and everyone who knows the games have, the Manga sizes are SUPER BIG, way bigger than their actual official art style sizes. Matter of fact, and I explained this in Chapter 1, Shamsiel isn't supposed to be THAT BIG from the get go!

Edit: So I'm replaying the first Funbag Fantasy game to refresh my memory annnnddd... for some reason, they're using the American measurments... they used the correct European measurments in later games... so yeah, trust the measurments in VNDB more.

Yep, Episode 1 is actually longer in the VN and it goes into detail too. The Prefect actually dies of a heart attack after his imprisonment (funny thing is he got this heart attack when he saw Lute and Roxanne have sex. Later, he died from it in his jail cell,) and Lute promises Roxanne that he'll make sure to marry her in the future. In fact, it is revealed later that the Prefect was conspiring with Prince Bobon to usurp the Edellandian throne and Roxanne later came to testify about that in the Harem Ending. It also explains the reason why he hates Roxanne: It's not only because she has big boobs (Yes, the Prefect is a Lolicon,) but he also discovered that she's a low class Noble aka she has a Noble status but she's dirt poor. Of course, as you know from the Anime, the Prefect wanted to accuse Lute of Adultery, however, the one who thwarted the Prefect's entire plan was indeed Shamsiel!
I could even go onto the little details but I'll let you discover that yourself whether by reading this Manga or by playing the VN. Long story short, both episodes are literally but a FRACTION of what the VN contains!

I think Manga adaptation of H games are neat, higher chance of getting a translation (thanks to fans though), unlike hentai (animated or not) they usually have more breathing room for the plot.

What do you think about the pacing so far? Do you think they are trying to get to the first big scene fast to give a quick idea of what to expect or you think it will be a relatively short adaptation?
