Author-san panicked, as chapters 290-291 were pretty clearly leading into his planned story and he can't very well swerve from here. So rather than risk upsetting the fans, he put it into reverse and is just redoing the plot.

No offense, but where the hell are you guys picking up the reason that it's because of backlash? Assuming drama (without evidence) is unhealthy. Yes it could be true, sure, but there are tons of legitimate reasons to rewrite or retcon stuff:

They could've written themselves into a corner because Erika would jump him after being accidentally seduced like that.

Perhaps Kisa-sensei realized he doesn't like Erika-sensei that much, and maybe prefers the other teacher.

Maybe Kisa changed their mind and thinks Sou's scenario is far from realistic, even in this 1:39 world? Imagine the only girl in a class full of boys saying the stuff Sou was saying in Chapter 290. Actually now that I think about it, Sou thinking of this scenario might imply that Sou has some awareness about the women's horniness, and we can't have that for Sou's mental health.

MC was basically adding fuel to a fire and, since the main plot was to make sure the family trust the school and the classroom, this last chapters would've made too difficult to continue without creating some sort of plothole down the line.
The author may change the scenario that MC gives Sensei to one that can be done without making Sensei look like a crazy person.
That or make Sensei have more mental strength and be able to act without breaking down.
