I thought the original version was on track to be kino. Erika-sensei is big into oshi culture, it's the delusion she uses to suppress her female side just like Ai-Chan-Sensei uses gacha to suppress her female side. Right now is her oshi's birthday month (Ch 261). I'll assume "oshi" means vtuber oshi since it'd be easier for a woman to farm money from other women by pretending to be a male using Live2D (oh the irony). Let's scratch out a version on that train of thought.

When presented with a scenario where she's being cheated on, Erika-sensei's frame of reference shouldn't be "my lover, who I have a different relationship with compared to all of these lustful sows, just cheated on me after squeezing my money dry". It should be "my oshi (totally male), who I have a different relationship with compared to all of these desperate whales, just brought a female on stream right after I bought their birthday merch (no refunds)". There should be plenty of delusional vtuber fans on 4chan and twitter irl to use as reference for how that'd play out. They sure are a... special bunch.

Now remember Miku's and Kakizaki's delusions. Let's consider those failed delusions since they feed into their desire for Sou. Erika-sensei would be an example of what a delusion should be and it's exactly as crazy as you think it is.

You know how vtuber fans have one oshi per vtuber generation, and one kamioshi per vtuber company or above all other oshis? Erika-sensei becomes more delusional by projecting the 5 boys of classes 2 A-E like a vtuber generation, and makes Sou her oshi.

For us, this thought process is the equivalent of giving Taco Bell to a small Victorian child, but in the thoughts of someone like Sumire (best girl btw, if you disagree you're wrong), who 100% expected Erika-sensei to crack under the pressure, it's the sign of a top tier guard student. She doesn't even see Erika-sensei's female aura so much as flinch, Erika-sensei probably just tanks it. Crisis averted.

The way it ends would probably be played as ironic. Erika-sensei, having just used her oshi as a delusion to shield herself from the cheating scenario, ended up cheating on her oshi by making Sou her new oshi, but she convinces herself it's different since he's her kamioshi and that's not cheating (note: from that day onward, the user "bakedcookies17" was never seen giving an akasupa to her oshi ever again).

Anyway, this version is eh. It's safe. Sumire got called out which is hilarious but otherwise it doesn't do much with Erika-sensei's character, which is a shame since we probably won't get much on her again until like 2030 in chapter 478 or something. Since this class was second period, the next mini-arc is probably going to be lunchtime or something.

And remember, there was this four-shot with Aya, Hana and Kaede. Now imagine Ruri making contact with Sou's family, while they question Aya's team during lunch break - the carnage will be epic. Ruri could "accidently" drop the bomb about the A-Team watching idly while Sou and Yuri spent their juicy time in the locker...

The family should already know about the hugs since Sumire was in the store listening to Sou tell his guards about his day (Ch 257), they also know about the 4-shot since they all got the sent the photo (Ch 201, 203, 204). The party thing might work, but I think it's the last card to play before wrapping up.

Sou and Yuri-chan-sama in the locker is an elephant in the room that Ruri 100% would address, it's the whole reason she's even doing all this. Idk how that'd play out if that's it though, the family already think Sou and Yuri-chan-sama went abnormal version when Yuri-chan-sama said she was "embraced" by Sou (Ch 275), so what does it just deepen the misunderstanding? It doesn't feel like enough of a crisis by itself.

There is another elephant in the room though, if it's used, it'll go like this: Ruri tries to cause the family to get mad at Yuri-chan-sama and the class A guards by talking about the locker, the class A guards are embarrassed, the class E guards are staring blankly and start yapping about guard responsibility, Suzukiis probably disgusted by his guards, but the family think this is what Yuri-chan-sama meant when she said she was embraced, so they're forlorn, it won't affect the outcome.

Ruri is probably panicking that her trump card didn't work. Sou, for whatever reason, steps up to defend Yuri-chan-sama or clarify the situation without actually understanding what's being implied. He makes a critical mistake; he talks about the day 2 bathroom meeting, something literally no one in the room knew about.

Everyone assumes the worst case ofc. As far as the family is concerned Yuri-chan-sama used a note to lure in Sou to have her way with him, and his guard students, who were just yapping about guard responsibility, allowed it to happen.

One way out I can see is Suzuki backs up his "true Yuri" friend Sou by talking about how Yuri-chan-sama is actually really into Miku so it really isn't like any of that. If this is played off within the classroom, where everyone hears it, then Ruri's goal of ruining Yuri-chan-sama's standing is accomplished with a monkey's paw. Before, Yuri-chan-sama was constantly defending herself from the non-virgin accusations, now she's beating those accusations just to be accused of being into girls when she really isn't. A funny reversal of a long running joke. Suzuki on his part would probably realise too late that Yuri-chan-sama's Yuri is actually dead.

All of that is way too strong though, Kisa just got out of writing himself into a corner with Erika-sensei, using the day 2 bathroom meeting is really risky. Idk man.

Hinata is almost that. She's much more "normal" than the rest of the cast, isn't swept away completely by Sou's aura of Sou-ness, and recognizes when he's about to do a dumb.
