Yane no Shita no Artemis - Ch. 55 - Record

[K1NGST0N33]

That's a low blow to give an emotional chapter out of nowhere like that...

[outinthegardener]

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, little boy blue and the man in the moon. "When're you comin' home?" Son I don't know when, but we'll get together then, boy, we're gonna have a good time then.

We just got Cat Stevens level of sad. Big oof!

I just rewatched Journal with Witch, and noticed how it shares the "Reluctant Aunt/Uncle takes in their niece" premise with this. Otherwise very different stories. But a neat connection.

[smolbro]

That's not fair man. Blindsided me with that.

If this was an anime, this arc would be the season finale.

Only if it's 24 episodes I'm afraid

I expected that there would be some personal notes like in a diary, but still... It makes me feel a bit sad to see, just how much he loved her, despite his sister dumping her at his home and dipping to never be seen again. He was such a good (adoptive) father to her.

[NoxSodoma]

How dare he forget his regrets and find a loving family on his adoptive daughter. Damned failure of a scientist 😭

[Mr-Zombie]

Just what I need in the morning. A cup of hot chocolate and sadness.

[ogucreek]

their relationship makes me so sad man he loved her so much despite everything

[JoeKerr]

That was an intercontinental ballistic missile levels of feels that suddenly dropped.

Coming up next, Koharu's controversial decision.

Apologies, I've seen y'all take a while (sometimes weeks) after it's on Setsu Scans so I thought you guys don't really mind if I upload it here anyways.

I didn't think it mattered too much as long as I put your names as the translators.

Do you want me to take it down?

[jojoka]

Bro...
