I think they established awhile ago that he was supposed to be about as strong as an actual knight. Not sure how long ago that was either. As for the copy ability, that was revealed in the forest trial thing to save Eleanore. It has the consequence of making him permanently vulnerable to the ability he copies which is why he has absolutely no ability to resist Eleanore ever...and probably any girl who joins the harem assuming there will be one.
