    I've read fanfics because they were yuri, but I've never been fan of Gundam or robots in general.

    Robots are essentially plot devices but Gundam still revolves around its characters. Witch From Mercury is the most recent mainline one at 25/24 episodes while the new one, Gundam Gquuuuuux is supposed to end on 2 as its a 12-episode anime.
