Mixed feelings about this. Felt like they needed to spend more time at the end rewarding the audience. They didn't fuel the boy-meets-girl-but-can't-be-with-her enough, there were no crumbs of affection that kept the audience going. I don't know if it was more fleshed out in the LN or...
