Finally, we're covering Sakura's backstory. I don't remember the van kidnap part from the live-action show, so the adaptation probably chose to leave it out. It's cool that we're finally seeing more development from her.
btw the furigana for Kokuryuu is Heiron because that's the japanified pronunciation of the Chinese 黑龙, which means 'black dragon'. I think the names are supposed to be pronounced the furigana way while the kanji is there as an explanation.
We're finally at the climax of the live action adaptation! I liked the show quite a bit and I would love to see where the story goes beyond what the show has adapted.
