yeah, it's really hard to see the difference. but if you zoom in really close, you can see the screentone pattern on the bottom panel.

idk how you define 'actual friends', for me they are already friends. I agree the development is really really slow, but as long as there's progress it's still a good thing. You just have to be patient, especially for this kind of SoL series.

i know what you feel, but that's a common problem for ongoing series to keep it longer. Also, you can't expect them to go beyond 'just a friend' because it's not that kind of series in the first place. (there's still a chance tho, just not in early chapters)
