The manga follows the light novel, funny enough this whole arc does not exist in the web novel and the mom is/was alive. More spoilers about this arc.

People will read the first 3 pages of the first chapter, miss half the dialogue because tiktok and ADHD, decide its trash and give it a 1, that is why I personally don't give a shit about ratings, I will decide what is trash or not after giving it at least 5 chapters chance.

Another addition to my theory is that the break is for the editor and illustrator to read the comments on this chapter and gather ideas from theories and not fuck up the ending which will be funny if true.
