Ah, take a look at those illustrations in the article. The bascinets in the first seem to be a more normal type (mixed in with other helmets; I think there are sallets in there too), but in the second they all do seem to match the rectangular face-masks in the Bascinet Party.

Even though this manga is one big fourth wall break, it would have been better for the line to only comment on her being called a "Lord" rather than specifically bring up that the English TL was doing it. Making it look like the author acknowledged the TL when he didn't is a bad choice.
I knew this series was finished in the raws, so given both the nature and title of this arc I was starting to get a bit wistful thinking it was nearly over. But this is only chapter 55 out of 66, so we've still got 1/6 of the series to go.
