Starting Today, We’re Childhood Friends - Vol. 10 Ch. 91 - Childhood Friend and Chocolate

And conveniently enough, the very next chapter demonstrates exactly how and why using the original term and including a note to explain what the term is generally taken to mean and, more complexly, what it actually does mean, was exactly the right way to handle it, since the entire point of it...

    Mankitsu Shitai Jouren-san - Ch. 23.1

What's to explain? Sweet, cute girls enjoy orgasms just as much as anyone else does.

    Mankitsu Shitai Jouren-san - Ch. 22.1

I grow more convinced all the time that chapter 1 was exactly what it looked like AND all of the wholesomeness since then has been exactly what it looks like too - that the author isn't trolling or switching genres or anything like that, but is instead simply illustrating the very simple fact -...

Atsumare! Fushigi Kenkyu-bu - Ch. 360 - The Mystery of 10 Years Later

No, you're not the only one. That was my reaction. I immediately thought the intent with this chapter was to put all the harem noise to rest so we can just get back to stories about a guy surrounded by bizarre goofballs. Then I opened up this discussion thread, only to see pretty much nothing...

Konbini de Kimi to no 5-funkan - Vol. 6 Ch. 80

I initially jumped to the same conclusion that much of this thread has, but I don't think that was Taku in the opening bit - he's not quitting. In the first place, the panel notably didn't show the character's face. That's a pretty strong hint all by itself. Beyond that, if Taku was quitting...

Houkago Kitaku Biyori - Ch. 9 - Let's Hang Out at Home

I hadn't thought about it, but she is sort of an older version of Renge. They share an oddly serious approach to fun and an unusual conception of what actually is fun, and somehow the people around them end up actually having fun, in spite of the fact that they generally don't even understand...

    Datenshiron - Vol. 3 Ch. 33

I'm okay with that. This manga has been a weird but enjoyable combination of goofy, serious, lewd, wholesome and surreal all along, so even though the ending felt sort of axed-rushed, it wasn't like it was all that far out of line with the rest of the manga. And it did tie up all the loose ends.

Yankee-kun to Hakujou Gaaru - Vol. 2 Ch. 39 - Want To See You | Epilogue

That was a great chapter. So many pleasing slices of so many lives.

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san - Vol. 19 Ch. 144 - Senpai... even for you, that was...

Next I want to see them telling other people that they're officially a couple, and literally every single person responding with some varition on "It's about damned time."

Watashi ga 15-sai de wa Nakunatte mo. - Vol. 2 Ch. 16

Anyone who presumes to decide whether or not someone else's life has value is a foul, loathsome piece of shit.

Yofukashi no Uta - Vol. 20 Ch. 200 - Final Night: And Then

Well - I owe an apology to all of the people I was deriding a few chapters back because they had already decided that the ending was going to suck. You were right.

Kono Ko Shirimasenka? - Vol. 3 Ch. 22 - Life Flashes

I can't figure out what Chiaki's endgame is here. She apparently already got her revenge against her killer, but that part of it was just glossed over, as if it wasn't even all that important. The really important thing to her seems to be for Ryouhei to die. But why? Why is that so vital to her?

Yofukashi no Uta - Ch. 198 - Winter Nights Are Long

Holy shit - nine pages of angry douchebags wailing about an ending that hasn't even happened yet. I'm just looking forward to seeing what's going to happen next. I have no idea, but after 198 chapters of quality storytelling, I fully expect it to be quality storytelling, whatever it is.

Konbini de Kimi to no 5-funkan - Vol. 6 Ch. 78

Looking forward to seeing OL-san's viewpoint. That was obviously a big deal to her (that blush was epic), but of course she didn't know what a big deal it was to Shibasaki too.

Hajirau Kimi ga Mitainda - Ch. 59.2 - Iron Rule

This is such a weirdly disjointed manga. The mangaka keeps introducing new elements that briefly look like they could be important in the long term, then they just sort of peter out or fade away, and it moves on to the next thing that looks like it might be important in the long term but then...
